Hoofprints in the Sand had the privilege of presenting the transformative power of equine therapy for veterans at the Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Founder Sarah Lustig, along with a group of volunteers from Hoofprints in the Sand, addressed the members of the Rotary Club, highlighting the profound impact of equine therapy on veterans' mental health and emphasizing the therapeutic value of the unique bond formed between veterans and horses. Equine therapy provides a safe and nurturing environment for veterans to heal, rebuild trust, and develop crucial emotional regulation skills.
The invitation to speak with the Rotary Club allowed us to forge new connections, raise awareness, and inspire individuals to join our cause. The support and collaboration of the Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant are instrumental in our mission to improve the mental health and well-being of our honored veterans. We would like to say a big thank you to the Rotary Club and all those who attended for their warm reception and ongoing dedication to community service.
